Robert Walak

Robert Walak is the President of Focus Features, a leading film label known for its distinguished library of acclaimed titles and its commitment to acquiring and producing speciality films for global audiences.

Before joining Focus Features, Walak served as co-managing Director at Universal Pictures International Productions, where he oversaw internationally driven productions, acquisitions, and local-language content. He previously held the roles of Managing Director and President of Production and Acquisitions at The Weinstein Company and Senior Vice President of Production and Acquisitions at Alliance Films/Momentum Pictures.

Earlier in his career, Walak worked in business development at Endemol and began his industry journey as a producer at MTV Europe. He graduated from the University of Amsterdam.
