Vi-Dan Tran

Vi-Dan Tran is a stunt and action designer. He was born in Cologne, Germany, and studied filmmaking, focusing on directing, storytelling, and cinematography. In addition to his academic pursuits, he worked as a stuntman on various television and feature film productions, including Into the Badlands (Season 2), Skyfall, Cloud Atlas, and Hitman: Agent 47.

With a strong wushu and martial arts background, Vi-Dan was invited to work as an action designer for the Hong Kong-based film company China Star in 2013–2014. In 2016, he joined the legendary Jackie Chan Stunt Team, contributing to the action choreography and previsualization for Jackie Chan's films The Foreigner and Bleeding Steel. The following year, he became an official member of the team's 8th generation.

Since 2015, Vi-Dan has also worked as a director and cinematographer, creating TV commercials and music videos for major labels such as Universal Music and Sony Music in Germany.
