Asad Qizilbash

Asad Qizilbash is a senior executive at Sony Interactive Entertainment (SIE), serving as the Senior Vice President of Product within the Studio Business Group and Head of PlayStation Productions. With over 18 years of experience at SIE, Qizilbash has played a pivotal role in expanding the company's entertainment footprint beyond gaming. In 2019, he was instrumental in establishing PlayStation Productions, a division dedicated to adapting SIE's video game franchises into film and television projects. Under his leadership, PlayStation Productions has brought several major titles to the screen, including the film Uncharted (2022) and the television series The Last of Us (2023–present). The latter has been particularly successful, becoming the most-watched show in the history of HBO Max in both Europe and Latin America.

In his capacity as Head of Product at PlayStation Studios, Qizilbash oversees portfolio and strategy planning for PlayStation's exclusive games lineup. He previously served as Vice President of Games Marketing, where he was responsible for growing PlayStation Studios' gaming brands into global entertainment franchises.

Qizilbash's efforts have been recognised with multiple nominations for the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Drama Series for his role as an executive producer on The Last of Us (2023 and 2025).
