
Inspector Edib and Mido are called to investigate a dead body in the National Museum, but when the body disappears from the crime scene they are led into a web of corruption and international crime.

Inspector Edib is called in to investigate a gruesome murder that happened in the National History Museum in Sarajevo.

As the murder investigation continues, the son of the former museum director is the only witness and soon becomes the only suspect. Things take an unexpected turn when the body disappears.

The investigation becomes more complicated as a precious artefact known as the Haggadah goes missing from the museum.

The museum's director, Selma, gets arrested after spending the night with Edib. The police chief suspends Edib, advising him to go on vacation.
Edib wallows in grief and alcohol. The police rule Selma's death as a suicide and close the investigation. Edib sobers up for the funeral and plans to carry out his own investigation.
